herewith we inform you about news and changes that have been implemented in the past year and will still be carried out.
The Laserpointer CP30 from WEKA is an ideal aid to drill exactly centrical. The centre of the hole is indicated by a point or crossline. The CP30 is screwed onto the drill spindle, thereby the CP30 is switched on automatically. Now the machine will be aligned in such a way, that the red laser point is placed exactly in the centre.
Fix the drill stand, unscrew the laser pointer, screw the drill bit on – ready.
The CP30 is particularly suitable for inclined drilling and for drilling holes from wall-to-wall. The CP30 is sealed and therefore low-maintenance. The three batteries can easily be replaced.
The Laserpointer CP30 is now available at a list price of 160 EUR plus VAT.
The Ring Saw TR40 ANNA is based on the drive motor of the TS40 ANNA and also can be operated at single-phase (3700W) and three-phase (6500W). The excellent cutting depth of up to 300 mm is sufficient to cut through a wall with normal wall thickness from one side.
Special features:
Assembly / disassembly and adjustment of the saw blade without the need for any tools.
Newly developed, efficient roller guide allows a low-wear sawing with significantly increased lifetime.

If only the Ring Saw TR40 incl. saw blade is ordered, the above list price is reduced by 1729,00 EUR.

3. Stop of production frequency converter FU4
The production of the FU4 frequency converter was discontinued. In the future, all WEKA high-frequency devices can only be purchased with the universal frequency converter FU6U.
The advantages of this universal frequency converter FU6U are obvious:
This compact universal converter can control several machines of WEKA, e.g. the HD16 hand-held drill, the HS40 hand saw, all ANNA products (TS40, TK40, TR40), as well as future developments in the high-frequency range. The converter recognizes the connected machine by means of the coded plug and controls each connected machine individual.
4. Starter set Diamond Chain Saw TK40
Starting from 2017 the diamond chain saw TK40 ANNA will always be offered including a fixed consumable set.

6. New diamond core drilling machines DK42 E and DK52 E
The newly developed core drilling machines DK42 E and DK52 E basically correspond to the tried and tested predecessors, but the machines were equipped with a refined motor electronics, which has the following features:
Keyboard and LED display
The DK42 E and DK52 E have a robust keypad for starting and stopping the machine.
The following information is displayed to the user via LEDs:
Phase direction – that means the machine only runs in the direction of rotation provided. In this way, disturbances and accidents are avoided by a wrong direction of rotation and thus unintended loosening of the tool.
Phase failure – if a phase fails, the machine can no longer be switched on, or switches off when a phase fails during operation.
Load – by means of three LEDs the load on the machine is displayed to the user. If all three LEDs lights up red, full load is reached. If the three LEDs are flashing the machine is already overloaded by 50% and then switches off after approx. 5 s.
Soft start
An electronic softstart is integrated into the DK42 E and DK52 E, which prevents the jerky start of the three-phase motor. As a result, the mechanical components of the core drilling machine as well as of the core drill stand are protected during starting. Furthermore, it is avoided that, with large drilling tools, the drill stands change the desired position due to the strong jerk during starting.
Motor protection
Thanks to the newly developed motor electronics, overloading of the machine and thus excessive wear as well as damage to the engine and gearbox can be avoided.
Change of direction of rotation
The direction of rotation of the spindle can be changed with the new models DK42E and DK52E by switching in the phase reversing plug, if this is confirmed by the combination of the START and STOP button together. This makes it possible to remove the spindle from the drill bit by means of the motor.
Cable housing in the cable is not required
The old DK42 and DK52 models require a cable housing, which is integrated in the mains cable of the machine. Thanks to the newly developed electronics integrated in the machine, this cable housing is no longer required for the new models, which makes the handling much easier.

7. Prices for machines and spare parts
The year 2016 was marked by new increases in procurement prices and higher labour costs due to new tariff agreements.
Nevertheless, due to the current competitive situation in 2017, we will not be making any general price increases for machines and spare parts. We reserve the right to adjust the prices of individual spare parts.
